Hi, I’m Betsy Helmuth!

I’m here to teach you everything I know about interior design.

I get it. You’re not looking for a shiny new hobby — you want job security. You want to develop serious interior design skills and make money doing what you love.

You need to find an educational resource that can teach you design principles AND how to run a business, take on clients, and become profitable.

Unfortunately, expensive degrees and online courses often teach outdated design principles… and don’t cover the practical side of starting a business and designing for clients.

I created the Uploft Interior Design Academy to provide aspiring designers with an accessible, comprehensive education in design so they can launch their own interior design business in as little as 10 weeks.

Betsy Helmuth is a nationally celebrated interior designer and has worked with over 2000 clients in the last 16 years. She has appeared on the Today Show, HGTV, DIY Network, CBS, NBC, and in dozens of magazines and newspapers.

She is the author of popular DIY design books, “BIG DESIGN, SMALL BUDGET, Create a Glamorous Home in Nine Thrifty Steps” and “AFFORDABLE INTERIOR DESIGN, High-End Tips for Any Budget.”

Betsy also hosts a weekly educational podcast, Affordable Interior Design, which has published over 200 episodes!
